The Sorting Hat is imaginative and magical. It was created by J.K. Rowling and pays tribute to the magician’s hat which was the property of Godric Gryffindor. It is also used to determine the students who will be placed in Hogwarts Hostel by the Founders of Hogwarts.

The Sorting Hat can be used to determine which house a student is best placed in. It can read the wearer’s mind and respond to wearer’s thoughts, and even talk to the wearer. It is also used to determine which House the student is a member of and to award the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy of it.

Required Room
The Room of Requirement was a key element of Harry’s Hogwarts experience. It was not just the place the place where Harry obtained his first (and final) Horcrux, but also the place where Voldemort discovered his diadem that he had lost. The room also houses an array of oddball artifacts, including the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact in its own right. It also contains the legilimen, which utilizes legitmization in order to read minds. Although this is a more difficult task than many wizards would like you to believe, it has been done by a small group of.
