The Slytherin common room was located below the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is well-known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was an opulent House, and Gryffindor was well-known for its rivalry to Slytherin. Hufflepuff is the most petty of the four houses, was known for its values of loyalty, patience, and hard work.

Hogwarts is the place where all students reside during the academic year. Students live in dormitories, and are able to sleep in four-poster beds that are large and spacious. Professors teach students. There are House tables, where students can meet and socialize. There are also notice boards in strategically placed locations within the school.

Library

The Chamber of Secrets lies deep beneath Hogwarts school. It is home to the ancient Basilisk. When Dumbledore’s army is betrayed by the enemy, the Chamber is left open. It also contains floor cushions that can be used to guard against Dark Detectors and defensive spells. The Chamber also houses an embodied memory from Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.

The Chamber of Secrets is also the home of two serpents in the solid wall of the Room. They have emerald-colored eyes. They are believed to be summoned by Tom Riddle. There are also secret entrances to four dormitories of the House. They are also hidden from the outside and require a password or a ritual. These entrances can only be used by members of the House.
