Sorting hat
In the first year of Hogwarts students are assigned a house that is based on their personality traits. The Sorting Hat does the heavy lifting, placing students into the most appropriate House to challenge them. It’s a great opportunity to discover your strengths and weaknesses.

The Sorting Hat is an imaginative enchanted object. It was created by J.K. Rowling and pays tribute to the magician’s hat that was owned by Godric Gryffindor. It is also used by the Founders of Hogwarts to decide which students they will place in their Houses.

The Sorting Hat can also be used to determine the house a student should live in. It can read the wearer’s thoughts and respond to wearer’s thoughts, and even speak to the wearer. It is also used to determine which House students belong to and to present the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy of it.

Required Room
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts, the Room of Requirement played a pivotal role in the series. It was not only where Harry obtained his first (and final) horcrux but it was also the place the place where Voldemort found his lost diadem. In fact, the Room of Requirement was so enigmatic that it took the most enigmatic part of the year for Dumbledore to unmask its nefarious past.

The room is also home to an array of oddball artifacts, including the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact in its own right. It also contains the legilimen, which utilizes legitmization to read minds. While this is a trickier task than the majority of wizards would have you believe it is actually only performed by a few.

Chapter House
The organization was founded by Salazar Slytherin, Slytherin was known for its ambition and self-preservation. Slytherin was also known for being selfish and vicious. Slytherin actually made the most Death Eaters.

The common room of the Slytherin was situated below the Black Lake. It had rough stone walls and silver lamps that hung from its ceiling. It is well-known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

There are many secrets inside Hogwarts. Some of these are hidden from the outside like the Chamber of Secrets. Other locations are well-known and widely used, such as the Leaky Cauldron restaurant and Gringotts Money Exchange.

The Chamber of Secrets was constructed by Salazar Slytherin prior to his departure from Hogwarts. It was designed to purge the school’s students who were Muggle-born. There are a few routes that can be utilized to take you from the school up to the castle. These are not always easy to locate however. They are typically hidden by tapestry or by a secret entrance. Some of these shortcuts are only available to members of the House. The secret entrance to Hufflepuff is behind barrels. The barrel is also under spell, so tap the barrel to let an edgy chute.

The Dark Room is where Dumbledore’s Army meets. It is the scene of many of the battles in the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore makes his argument for Harry’s defense. It has floor cushions for defensive spells as well as volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There are also secret entrances to four House dormitories. These are also hidden from the outside and require a password or a ritual. These entrances are used by members of the House.
