When he was detained and given the death penalty however, he did not get angry. He remained calm and focused and persevered through the circumstances.

Sorting hat
Every student is assigned a Hogwarts house during their first year. This is determined by their personality. The Sorting Hat takes care of the heavy lifting and places students in the right House to test their personality. It’s a great opportunity to test one’s strengths and weaknesses.

The Sorting Hat is a clever enchanted object. It was created by J.K. Rowling, and is a reference to the magician’s hat which was owned by Godric Gryffindor. It is also used to determine the students who will be placed in Hogwarts Houses , as decided by the Founders of Hogwarts.

The Sorting Hat can also be used to determine the house a student should live in. It can read the wearer’s mind, respond to the wearer’s thoughts, and even talk to the wearer. It is also used to determine which House a student belongs to and to present the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy.

Room of Requirement
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a crucial role in the story. Apart from providing Harry with his first (and final) horcrux It was also the place the location where Voldemort’s lost diadem was kept. In actual fact the Room of Requirement was so enigmatic that it took the best part of a year for Dumbledore to unmask its nefarious past.

The room also houses a range of odd-looking artifacts like the Sorting Hat, which is an ancient artifact. The hat also contains the legilimen, which utilizes legitmization to read minds. While this is a harder task than many wizards would like you to believe it is actually only performed by a few.

Some of these shortcuts are only known to members of the House. The secret entrance to Hufflepuff is hidden behind barrels. It is also under spell so tap the barrel with a rhythm to open a slimy chute.

The Dark Room is where Dumbledore’s Army meets. It is the site of numerous battles in the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore fights in Harry’s defense. It contains floor cushions for defensive spells and also volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.
