Some of these short-cuts are only known to members of the House. Behind barrels lies the secret entrance to Hufflepuff. It is also under spell so tap the barrel with a rhythm to open a slimy chute.

The Dark Room is where Dumbledore’s Army meets. It is where a lot of the battles are fought during the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore presents his argument for Harry’s defense. It has floor cushions for defensive spells, as well as volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There are also secret entrances into four House dormitories. These secret entrances are also secret from the outside and require the use of a password. These entrances can only be used by members of the House.
