The Sorting Hat can be used to determine which house a student should live in. It can read the wearer’s mind, respond to the wearer’s thoughts, and even speak to the wearer. It also helps determine the House the student is a member of and to award the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy of it.

Required Room
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a important role in the Harry Potter series. Apart from it providing Harry with his first (and final) Horcrux It was also the place the location where Voldemort’s lost diadem was kept. The Room of Requirement was so obscure that it took Dumbledore nearly a whole year to unravel its dark history.

The room is also home to various odd-looking artifacts like the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact of its own. It also has a legilimen that uses legitmization to read minds. While this is a harder task than most wizards would have you believe, it has been only performed by a few.

Chapter House
Salazar Slytherin created Slytherin. The founder of Slytherin was known for being ambitious and self-protective. Slytherin was also known for being cruel and selfish. Slytherin actually made the most Death Eaters.

The common room of Slytherin was situated below the Black Lake. It had rough stone walls and silver lamps that hung from its ceiling. It is famous for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was a noble House, while Gryffindor was famous for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff was the least noble of the four houses. It was known for its values in loyalty, perseverance and dedication to work.

Hogwarts is a huge house for all students during the academic year. Students are housed in dormitories, and sleep in large four-poster beds. Professors teach students. There are tables in the House, where students can socialise. Notice boards are located in strategic locations around the school.

Library
The Library at Hogwarts is a great place to start your Harry Potter journey, whether you are a Harry Potter fan or simply interested in the world of Harry Potter. It is not just house to tens of millions of books and other items, but it also has an area which is only accessible to students who have written permission. Voldemort believed that he won the last battle and planned to take all Hogwarts students to Slytherin. But he passed away before he could carry out his plan.

The Chamber of Secrets lies deep beneath Hogwarts school. It is home to the ancient Basilisk. When Dumbledore’s Army is betrayed, the Chamber is left open. It contains floor cushions for defensive spells as well as Dark Detectors. The Chamber is also the home of an embodied memory of Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.

Two serpents are also located in the Chamber of Secrets. They have been carved into solid wall of this Room. They have eyes that are emerald-colored. They are believed to have been summoned by Tom Riddle. They also have the ability to grow the Devil’s Snare which is a large snake that can attack anyone who enters this Chamber. The Chamber also has an arachnid-scratching faucet. Fang is a huge boarhound in black is a resident of the Chamber. Fang is more friendly than Mrs. Norris.

The dungeon houses the Slytherin dormitory. The room is green with carved armchairs. It also houses the statue of Salazar Slytherin. The room is decorated with lamps that are green and emit a greenish glow.

The Hufflepuff dormitory has low ceilings and is a relaxing, sunny space. The plant life hangs from its ceiling. It also has a huge common room. The House animal is the badger. The badger is believed to represent the family gathering. Nearly headless Nick is also a ghost that haunts the House.

There are a few short-cuts to get from the school to the castle. They aren’t always simple, however. They are usually hidden behind tapestry or an entry that is hidden. These shortcuts can only be accessed by House members. The secret entrance to Hufflepuff is hidden behind barrels. It’s also under spell and when you tap the barrel in the right rhythm, it will open a slimy chute.
