The Chamber of Secrets was constructed by Salazar Slytherin, who was a student at Hogwarts. It was created to cleanse the school’s students who were Muggle-born. The barrel is also under spell so tap the barrel to open an edgy chute.

The Dark Room is where Dumbledore’s Army meets. It is where a lot of the battles are fought in the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore presents his argument for Harry’s protection. It has floor cushions for defensive spells as well as volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There are also secret entrances into four House dormitories. These are also hidden from the outside and require a password or a ritual. These are the entrances used by the members of that House.
