Some of these shortcuts are only available to members of the House. The secret entrance of Hufflepuff is behind barrels. It’s also under spell so when you tap the barrel in rhythm it will open up an edgy chute.

The Dark Room is where Dumbledore’s Army meets. It is also where the battles are fought during the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore argues in Harry’s defense. It contains floor cushions for defensive spells as well as volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There are also secret access points to four House dormitories. They are also kept from the outside, and require a password or ritual. These entrances are only used by members of the House.
