The Sorting Hat also performs various other tasks, in addition to the simple task of determining which house a student should be assigned. Room of Requirement

Slytherin was an opulent House, and Gryffindor was known for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff, the least noble of the four houses was known for its values of loyalty, patience, and perseverance.

Hogwarts is a big home for all students during the academic year. Students reside in dormitories and can sleep in four-poster beds that are large and spacious. Professors instruct students. Students can gather at the tables in the House. Notice boards are placed in strategic locations around the school.

Library
If you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply interested in the magical world, the Library at Hogwarts has a lot to offer. Not only is it home to tens of thousands of books, but it also contains a section which is only accessible to students who have written permission. This section is located on the lower level of the library.

The library is divided into five stories of bookshelves. The first story is the main room, which is illuminated with natural light via leaded and stained glass windows. The ceiling measures 65 feet high.

Two serpents can also be found in the Chamber of Secrets. They have been carved into the solid wall of this Room. They have eyes that are emerald-colored. They are believed to have been summoned by Tom Riddle. They are also able to develop the Devil’s Snare, a large snake that is a threat to anyone who is in the Chamber. The Chamber also houses the snake-scratching tap. Fang, a giant black boarhound is a resident of the Chamber. Fang is more friendly than Mrs. Norris.
