Hufflepuff house
The Hufflepuffs are the least known of all the houses, but they have left an indelible impression on the Harry Potter world. When he was detained and given the death penalty however, he did not get angry. He remained calm and focused and was able to get through the circumstances.

Sorting hat
Every student is assigned an Hogwarts house in their first year. This is dependent on their personality. The Sorting Hat takes care of the heavy lifting and puts students in the right House to challenge their personality. It’s a great way for one to test their strengths and weaknesses.

The Sorting Hat is an imaginative enchanted object. It was created by J.K. Rowling, and is a reference to the magician’s hat which was owned by Godric Gryffindor. It is also used by Hogwarts’ Founders of Hogwarts to decide the students to put in their Houses.

The Sorting Hat also performs a number of functions beyond determining which house a student needs to be assigned. It is able to read the wearer’s thoughts and respond to their thoughts. It is even able to speak to them. It is also used to determine the House the student is a member of, and to present the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy of it.

Room of Requirement
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a pivotal role in the series. Aside from providing Harry with his first (and final) horocracy and a horcrux, it also served as the location the place where Voldemort’s diadem, which was lost, was hidden. In actuality the Room of Requirement was so enigmatic that it took the most enigmatic part of a year for Dumbledore to uncover its sinister past.

The room is also home to a variety of odd artifacts like the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact of its own. The hat also features an legilimen that utilizes legitmization to read minds. While this is a harder task than most wizards would like you to believe it is actually performed by a select few.

The second story is the home of the headmaster’s office. It also contains the Charms classroom. The third story houses the Reading Room. It is the only room in the library that is entirely silent. Salazar Slytherin erected the Chamber of Secrets before he left Hogwarts. It was designed to purge the students who were born Muggles from the school. Voldemort believed that he had won the last battle and intended to force all of Hogwarts students into Slytherin. However, he died before he could complete his plan.

The Chamber of Secrets lies deep beneath Hogwarts school. It is the home of the old Basilisk. When Dumbledore’s Army is betrayed the Chamber is left open. It contains floor cushions for defensive spells and Dark Detectors. The Chamber is also the home of an immortal memory of Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.

They can also grow the Devil’s Snare which is a large snake that is a threat to anyone who enters the Chamber. The Chamber is also home to a snake-scratching tap. They are typically hidden by tapestry or a hidden entrance. Some of these short-cuts are only available to members of the House. Behind barrels is the secret access to Hufflepuff. The barrels are also under spell and if you tap the barrel in rhythm, it will open a slimy chute.

The Dark Room is the place where Dumbledore’s Army meets. It is where many of the battles are fought during the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore lays out his argument for Harry’s protection. It also has floor cushions for defensive spells as well as volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There are also secret entrances to four House dormitories. They are also hidden from outside and require a password or ritual. These entrances are only used by members of the House.
