Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

The Wizarding World universe has the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry as its primary setting. It is a fictional British boarding college for children aged 11-18 years old.

Hufflepuff house
Despite being the least renowned of all houses, the Hufflepuffs have made an impression on the Harry Potter universe. The Hufflepuffs are renowned for its generosity, loyalty and willingness to help. They are also dedicated and hardworking. They are also known as the home of the most talented wizards and witches.

The Sorting Hat can be used to determine the house a student is best placed in. It is able to read a wearer’s thoughts and respond to their thoughts. It can even speak to them. It can be used to determine the House which a student comes from and to give the Sword of Gryffindor only to those who are qualified.

Room of Requirement
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a pivotal role in the series. It was not only where Harry got his first (and final) horcrux but also where Voldemort discovered his diadem that he had lost. In fact, the Room of Requirement was so enigmatic that it took the best part of a year Dumbledore to unmask its nefarious past.

The room also houses a variety of oddball artifacts including the Sorting Hat, which is a sapient artifact. The hat also boasts an legilimen that utilizes legitmization to read minds. While this is a harder task than many wizards would like you to believe it is actually only performed by a few.

Chapter House
Salazar Slytherin was the founder of Slytherin. The founder of Slytherin was known to be ambitious and self-preservative. Slytherin was also known for being cruel and selfish. Slytherin actually produced the most Death Eaters.

The common room of Slytherin was located under the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps that hung from the ceiling. It is famous for its beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was a noble House and Gryffindor was well-known for its rivalry to Slytherin. Hufflepuff was the least noble of the four houses. It was known for its virtues in loyalty, patience and dedication to work.

Hogwarts is a big school for all students throughout the academic year. Students live in dormitories, and are able to sleep in large four-poster beds. Students are taught by professors. Students can gather at the tables in the House. Notice boards are situated in strategic places around the school.

Library
