Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

The Sorting Hat also serves a number of functions beyond the simple task of determining which house a student needs to be assigned. It can listen to the wearer’s thoughts and respond to wearer’s thoughts, and even talk to the wearer. It also helps determine the House a student belongs to and to award the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy of it.

Room of Requirement
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts, the Room of Requirement played a crucial role in the story. Aside from providing Harry with his first (and last) horocracy It was also the place the place where Voldemort’s diadem, which was lost, was hidden. The Room of Requirement was so obscure that it took Dumbledore almost a year to discover its dark past.

The Slytherin common room was located under the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps that hung from the ceiling. It is famous for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was a noble House, while Gryffindor was known for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff was the least noble of the four houses. It was known for its virtues in loyalty, patience , and perseverance.

Hogwarts is a large home for all students during the academic year. Students are housed in dormitories, and sleep in four-poster beds. Students are taught by professors. There are House tables, where students can meet and socialize. Notice boards are placed in strategic locations around school.

Library
The Library at Hogwarts is a ideal place to begin your Harry Potter journey, whether you are a Harry Potter enthusiast or just curious about the magical world. It is home to thousands of books. However it also has a section that is restricted to students who have given written permission. This section is located on the lower floor of the library.
