The Sorting Hat can be used to determine the home a student should reside in. It is able to read a wearer’s mind and react to their thoughts. It can even talk to them. It also helps determine which House the student is a member of and to present the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy.

Room of Requirement
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a important role in the Harry Potter series. In addition to providing Harry with his first (and final) horcrux, it was also the place where Voldemort’s diadem, which was lost, was hidden. The Room of Requirement was so obscure that it took Dumbledore almost a year to discover its dark past.

The room is also home to a variety of odd artifacts like the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact in its own right. It also has the legilimen, which uses legitmization to read minds. This isn’t an easy task, but it has been successfully completed by a handful.

Chapter House
Established by Salazar Slytherin, Slytherin was known for its self-sufficiency and ambition. Slytherin also gained a bad reputation for being self-centred and a vicious. Slytherin actually produced the most Death Eaters.

The common room of Slytherin was located beneath the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is well-known for its breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was a noble House and Gryffindor was well-known for its rivalry to Slytherin. Hufflepuff was the least noble of the four houses. It was known for its virtues in loyalty, patience , and hard work.

Hogwarts is a huge home for all students during the academic year. Students live in dormitories and sleep in large four-poster beds. Students are taught by professors. Students can socialise at the tables in the House. There are also notice boards in strategic places around the school.

Library
If you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply interested in the world of magic that Harry Potter is a part of, the Library at Hogwarts has a lot to offer. It is not just house to tens of millions of books, but it also contains a restricted section which is only accessible to students who have written permission. This section is located on the lower floor.

The Chamber of Secrets lies deep beneath Hogwarts school. It is home to the ancient Basilisk. When Dumbledore’s Army is betrayed by the enemy, the Chamber is left open. It contains floor cushions for defensive spells and Dark Detectors. The Chamber is also the home of an immortal memory of Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.

The Chamber of Secrets is also the home of two serpents built into the wall of the Room. They have the eyes of emerald. They are believed to have been summoned by Tom Riddle. They can also grow the Devil’s Snare which is a large snake that is a threat to anyone who enters the Chamber. The Chamber also houses a snake-scratching faucet. It also houses a giant black boarhound named Fang. Fang is more friendly than Mrs. Norris.
