Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

The Chamber of Secrets is also home to two serpents, in the solid wall of the Room. They have the eyes of emerald. They are believed to be summoned by Tom Riddle. They also have the ability to grow the Devil’s Snare which is a large snake that is a threat to anyone who enters the Chamber. The Chamber is also home to a snake-scratching tap.
