Hufflepuff house
Despite being the least popular of all houses Hufflepuffs have left an impression on the Harry Potter universe. This House is well-known for its kindness, loyalty and willingness to assist. They are also committed and hard-working. They are known as the home of the most talented witches and wizards.

Newt Scamander, also known as a Hufflepuff is one of the most famous characters from the Harry Potter franchise. He was a magizoologist of the highest caliber and was loved by all. He was never angry when he was arrested and sentenced to death. He remained cool and focused and fought to get out of the situation.

Sorting hat
During the first year at Hogwarts students are assigned an appropriate house based on the student’s personality traits. The Sorting Hat handles the heavy lifting and places students in the most appropriate House to challenge their personality. It’s a great way test out one’s strengths and weaknesses.

The Sorting Hat is clever and magical. It was created by J.K. Rowling, and is a reference to the magician’s hat, which was owned by Godric Gryffindor. It is also used by Hogwarts’ Founders of Hogwarts to decide the students to put in their Houses.

The Sorting Hat also performs many other functions, besides determining the house to which a student should be assigned. It can listen to the wearer’s thoughts and respond to the wearer’s thoughts, and even speak to the wearer. It can be used to determine the House which a student comes from and to give the Sword of Gryffindor only to those who are qualified.

Required Room
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a pivotal role in the series. In addition to it providing Harry with his first (and last) horcrux, it was also the place where Voldemort’s diadem, which was lost, was hidden. In actual fact the Room of Requirement was so mysterious that it took the best part of a year Dumbledore to uncover its sinister past.

The room also houses a variety of odd-looking artifacts like the Sorting Hat, which is a sapient artifact. The hat also houses a legilimen, which uses legitmization to read minds. Although this is a more difficult task than most wizards would have you believe it is actually only performed by a few.

Chapter House

Hogwarts is the place where all students reside during the academic school year. Students live in dormitories and are able to sleep in huge four-poster beds. Professors teach students. There are a few shortcuts to take you from the castle to the school. These are not always easy however. They are typically hidden by tapestry or by a secret entrance. Some of these short-cuts are only available to members of the House. The secret entrance of Hufflepuff is hidden behind barrels. The barrels are also under spell, so when you tap the barrel in the same rhythm it will open up a slimy chute.

The Dark Room is the place where Dumbledore’s Army gathers. It is also the location of numerous battles in the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore argues for Harry’s defense. It also has floor cushions for defensive spells and volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There are also secret entrances into four House dormitories. These secret entrances are kept from view from the outside world and require an account number and password. These entrances are only used by members of the House.
