The common room of Slytherin was situated below the Black Lake. It had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from its ceiling. It is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Slytherin was an opulent House, and Gryffindor was known for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff, the least noble of the four houses, was known for its values of loyalty, patience, and dedication to work.
Hogwarts is the school where students go to stay during the academic school year. Students are housed in dormitories, and sleep in large four-poster beds. Professors teach students. Students can gather at the tables of the House. Notice boards are located in strategic locations around the school.
