Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Harry Potter and his friends attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry throughout the years. This is why the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry is a main setting of the Wizarding World universe. It is a fictional British school for children 11-18 years old.

Hufflepuff house

The Sorting Hat is imaginative and magical. It was created by J.K. Rowling and pays tribute to the magician’s hat that belonged to Godric Gryffindor. It is also used by the Founders of Hogwarts to decide the students to put in their Houses.

The Sorting Hat can also be used to determine which home a student should reside in. It can read the wearer’s mind and react to their thoughts. It can even speak to them. It can be used to determine the House in which a student is from and to present the Sword of Gryffindor only to those who are qualified.

Room of Requirement
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a pivotal role in the series. Apart from it providing Harry with his first (and last) horocracy It was also the place the place where Voldemort’s diadem, which was lost, was kept. In fact, the Room of Requirement was so enigmatic that it took the best part of a year for Dumbledore to reveal its dark past.

The room also houses an array of oddball artifacts, such as the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact of its own. It also contains a legilimen, which uses legitmization to read minds. While this is a harder task than most wizards would like you to believe, it has been performed by a select few.

Chapter House
Salazar Slytherin was the founder of Slytherin. The founder of Slytherin was known for being ambitious and self-protective. Slytherin also earned a bad reputation for being self-centered and a vicious. Slytherin actually made the most Death Eaters.

The common room of Slytherin was located beneath the Black Lake. It had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from its ceiling. It is known for its beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was a noble House, while Gryffindor was famous for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff is the most petty of the four houses was known for its virtues of loyalty, patience and hard work.

Hogwarts is the school where students go to stay during the academic year. Students reside in dormitories and are able to sleep in large four-poster beds. Students are taught by professors. There are House tables, where students can meet and socialize. There are also notice boards in strategic locations within the school.

Library
Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply interested in the magical world The Library at Hogwarts has a lot to offer. Not only is it home to tens of thousands of books as well as a restricted section which is only accessible to students who have written permission. This section is located on the lower level of the library.

The library is divided into five stories and has shelves for books. The main room is the one in the first. It is illuminated by natural light from stained and leaded glass windows. The ceiling is 65 feet high.

The headmaster’s office is located on the second floor. It also houses the Charms classroom. The third story has the Reading Room. It is the only room in the library that is entirely silent. The book also includes five short stories. Many of these stories are connected to the Deathly Hallows story.

Hogwarts, an amazing school for children wizards is located in the Scottish Highlands. Founded in the 10th century it was established to protect wizards from Muggle persecution. Hogwarts is among the most famous private boarding schools in the UK. The school is surrounded by the Forbidden Forest and is sometimes referred to as the Dark Forest.

There are many secrets inside Hogwarts. Some of these are hidden from the outside like the Chamber of Secrets. Other locations are well-known and well-used for example, the Leaky Cauldron restaurant and Gringotts Money Exchange.

Salazar Slytherin constructed the Chamber of Secrets before he left Hogwarts. It was designed to cleanse Hogwarts of students born to the Muggle race. Voldemort believed he had won the final battle and was planning to take all Hogwarts students into Slytherin. But he passed away before he was able to complete his plan.

The Chamber of Secrets lies deep beneath Hogwarts school. It also serves as the home to the ancient Basilisk. The Chamber is left open after Dumbledore’s army gets betrayed. It also houses floor cushions that can be used to defend against Dark Detectors and defensive spells. The Chamber also houses an embodied memory from Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.

Two serpents can also be found in the Chamber of Secrets. They are carved into the solid wall of this Room. They have emerald eyes. They are believed to have been summoned by Tom Riddle. They are also able to develop the Devil’s Snare, a large snake that can attack anyone who is in the Chamber. The Chamber is also home to the snake-scratching tap. It also houses a giant black boarhound named Fang. Fang is more friendly than Mrs. Norris.

The dungeon houses the Slytherin dormitory. The room is lush with carved armchairs. It also has an image of Salazar Slytherin. The room is decorated with green lamps and a greenish glow.

The Hufflepuff dormitory is a comfortable, sunny room with low ceilings. It has plants hanging from its ceiling. It also has a common room. The badger is the House animal. It is believed that the badger symbolizes gathering family. Nearly headless Nick is also a ghost that haunts the House.
