The Slytherin common area was located below the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is famous for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was an opulent House, and Gryffindor was well-known for its competition with Slytherin. Hufflepuff was the least noble of the four houses. It was known for its values in loyalty, patience , and perseverance.

Hogwarts is the school where students go to stay during the academic year. Students reside in dormitories and sleep in large four-poster beds. Professors teach students. Students can socialise at the House tables. There are also notice boards located in strategic locations within the school.

Library
