Room of Requirement

Established by Salazar Slytherin, Slytherin was known for its ambition and self-preservation. Slytherin also earned a bad reputation for being self-centered and violent. In reality, Slytherin produced the most Death Eaters.

The common room of Slytherin was located below the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is famous for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Slytherin was a noble House and Gryffindor was famous for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff was the least noble of all four houses. It was known for its virtues in loyalty, patience and dedication to work.

It also contains floor cushions that can be used to guard against Dark Detectors and defensive spells. The Chamber is also home to an immortal memory of Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.
