The Sorting Hat is imaginative and magical. It was created by J.K. Rowling and pays tribute to the magician’s hat which was the property of Godric Gryffindor. It is also used to determine which students will be placed in Hogwarts Houses by the Founders of Hogwarts.

The Sorting Hat also performs many other functions, besides determining which house a student should be assigned. It can read the wearer’s mind and react to their thoughts. It is even able to speak to them. It is also used to determine which House the student is a member of and to award the Sword of Gryffindor to those who are worthy of it.

Room of Requirement
The Room of Requirement was a key element of Harry’s Hogwarts experience. It was not only the place where Harry got his first (and final) horcrux but it was also the location where Voldemort discovered his diadem that he had lost. In actual fact the Room of Requirement was so enigmatic that it took the best part of the year for Dumbledore to uncover its sinister past.

The room is also home to an array of oddball artifacts like the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact of its own. It also contains the legilimen, which utilizes legitmization to read minds. This is a challenging task however it has been achieved by a few.

Chapter House
The organization was founded by Salazar Slytherin, Slytherin was known for its ambition and self-preservation. Slytherin also earned a negative reputation for being self-centred and a vicious. Slytherin actually had the highest number of Death Eaters.

The common room of the Slytherin was located beneath the Black Lake. It had rough stone walls and silver lamps hanging from the ceiling. It is well-known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Library
Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or just interested in the magical world The Library at Hogwarts has a lot to offer. It houses thousands of books. However it also has a section only accessible to students who have granted written permission. This section is located on the lower level of the library.
