Required Room
During Harry’s time at Hogwarts, the Room of Requirement played a pivotal role in the series. It was not only the place where Harry got his first (and final) horcrux but it was also the place the location where Voldemort found his lost diadem. The Room of Requirement was so obscure that it took Dumbledore nearly a whole year to discover its dark past.

The area is also home to various odd-looking artifacts, such as the Sorting Hat, a sapient artifact that is its own. The hat also contains the legilimen, which utilizes legitmization to read minds. Although this is a more difficult task than the majority of wizards would like you to believe it is actually performed by a select few.

It is also under spell so if you tap the barrel in a the same rhythm, it will open an edgy chute.

The Dark Room is the place where Dumbledore’s Army gathers. It is the site of numerous battles in the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore fights in Harry’s defence. It also contains floor cushions for defensive spells and also volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.
