The Chamber of Secrets is deep under Hogwarts the school. It is also the home to the ancient Basilisk. When Dumbledore’s army is betrayed the Chamber is left open. It is home to floor cushions for defensive spells as well as Dark Detectors. The Chamber also houses an embodied memory from Tom Riddle, who was killed by Harry Potter.

The Chamber of Secrets is also home to two serpents, built into the wall of the Room. They have eyes that are emerald. They are believed to be summoned by Tom Riddle. It also has a huge black boarhound named Fang. He is more friendly than Mrs. Norris.
