The common room of Slytherin was located below the Black Lake, and had rough stone walls and silver lamps that hung from the ceiling. It is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Slytherin was a noble House, and Gryffindor was famous for its rivalry with Slytherin. Hufflepuff, the least noble of the four houses, was known for its virtues of loyalty, patience and hard work.

There are also secret entrances to four dormitories of the House. These secret entrances are hidden from the outside and require a password. These entrances are used by the members of that House.
