During Harry’s time at Hogwarts The Room of Requirement played a crucial role in the story. It was not just the place the location where Harry got his first (and final) horcrux but it was also where Voldemort found his lost diadem. The Room of Requirement was so mysterious that it took Dumbledore almost a year to uncover its dark past.
The room also houses a range of odd artifacts, including the Sorting Hat, which is an ancient artifact. The hat also boasts the legilimen, which uses legitmization to read minds. While this is a trickier task than the majority of wizards would have you believe it is being only performed by a few.
Salazar Slytherin founded Slytherin. The founder of Slytherin was known to be ambitious and self-protective. Slytherin was also known for its selfishness and ruthlessness. In fact, Slytherin produced the most Death Eaters.
The common room of the Slytherin was situated below the Black Lake. It had rough stone walls and silver lamps that hung from its ceiling. It is known for its beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Slytherin was a noble House and Gryffindor was well-known for its competition with Slytherin. Hufflepuff is the most petty of the four houses was known for its values of loyalty, patience and dedication to work.
Hogwarts is a big home for all students during the academic year. Students live in dormitories, and are able to sleep in large four-poster beds. Professors teach students. There are also tables at the House where students can socialise. Notice boards are placed in strategic locations around the school.

The Chamber of Secrets lies deep beneath Hogwarts school. It is home to the old Basilisk. When Dumbledore’s army is betrayed by the enemy, the Chamber is left open. It also houses floor cushions that can be used to protect against Dark Detectors and defensive spells. The Chamber also contains an embodied memory from Tom Riddle, who was murdered by Harry Potter.
The Chamber of Secrets is also home to two serpents, built into the wall of the Room. They have eyes of emerald color. They are believed to have been summoned by Tom Riddle. They are also able to create the Devil’s Snare, a large snake that is a threat to anyone who is in the Chamber. The Chamber is also home to the snake-scratching tap. Fang is a huge black boarhound is resident in the Chamber. He is friendlier than Mrs. Norris.
The dungeon houses the Slytherin dormitory. The room is adorned with armchairs carved and green. It also houses an image of Salazar Slytherin. The room is furnished with green lamps and a greenish glow.
The Hufflepuff dormitory has low ceilings and is a cozy bright and sunny place. It has plants hanging from the ceiling. It also has a communal room. The house animal is the badger. The badger is believed to represent family gatherings. The house also has a ghost named Nearly Headless Nick.
There are several shortcuts to take you from the castle to the school. These are not always easy however. They are usually concealed by tapestry or by the use of a secret entrance. Some of these shortcuts are only known to members of the House. Behind barrels is the secret entry point to Hufflepuff. The barrels are also under spell so if you tap the barrel in a rhythm it will open up the slimy chute.
The Dark Room is the place where Dumbledore’s Army gathers. It is the scene of many battles in the Harry Potter series. It is also where Dumbledore debates for Harry’s defense. It also has floor cushions for defensive spells and volumes of Defence Against the Dark Arts.
There are also secret entrances to four House dormitories. These are also hidden from outside and require a password or ritual. These entrances can only be used by members of the House.
